Cancellation/Refund Policy
Objective
This policy outlines the terms governing the cancellation or postponement of conferences, seminars, training sessions, and programs organized by J.A. Alpha Business Research & Publishers Pvt. Ltd. (J.A. Alpha), in accordance with the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and the Companies Act, 2013.
Cancellation by Organizer
In circumstances beyond reasonable control—such as natural disasters, regulatory restrictions, public health emergencies, or unavoidable venue issues—J.A. Alpha reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify scheduled events. Participants will be notified promptly, and options for rescheduling or refunds will be provided.
Cancellation by Participant
Participants requesting cancellations must submit written notice to the official J.A. Alpha email.
- Cancellations received at least 30 days before the event: 75% refund or full credit toward a future event.
- Cancellations 15 days prior: 50% refund.
- No refund will be granted for cancellations within 14 days of the event.
Non‑attendance (No‑show)
Failure to attend without prior notice will forfeit the registration fee, unless justified by documented medical or emergency reasons.
Policy Amendments and Legal Applicability
This policy may be reviewed periodically under Section 134 of the Companies Act, 2013. In all cases, the jurisdiction for dispute resolution shall be the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
