Purpose and Scope
This Data Privacy Policy applies to all personal information collected, processed, and stored by J.A. Alpha Business Research & Publishers Pvt. Ltd (J.A. Alpha), in compliance with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. The policy governs information collected from clients, participants, and partners during conferences, training programs, and related activities.
Collection of Information
J.A. Alpha collects personal details (name, contact, designation, institutional affiliation, email) solely for the purpose of registration, communication, and service delivery. Financial or payment information, where applicable, is processed through secure third-party gateways compliant with RBI and IT security norms.
Usage and Disclosure
Personal data is used for administrative, operational, and communication purposes. Disclosure to third parties occurs only with explicit consent or under lawful requirement by government or judicial authorities, in accordance with Section 43A of the IT Act, 2000.
Data Retention and Security
Data is retained only for the duration necessary to fulfill the intended purpose or as mandated by law. J.A. Alpha employs encryption, access control, and other IT security measures as prescribed by ISO/IEC 27001 standards.
User Rights and Grievances
Users may request correction, access, or deletion of their data by contacting the Data Protection Officer at J.A. Alpha, Chennai. Complaints are addressed in accordance with the grievance redressal mechanism under Rule 5(9) of the IT Rules, 2011.
